Generally speaking, drawing molds cannot completely follow the theory. Many things are right but cannot be solved. It needs to try the mold many times and spend a lot of time debugging the mold. The following editor gives you some practical experience in drawing die design for your reference: general drawing die product materials are specified by customers, but the same material may have different models. For example, cold rolled steel sheets are classified into 08Al, 08, 08F, 10, 15 and 20 steels. If you choose improperly, you may not be able to design a qualified product.
Most of the drawn products with the general rules and simple shapes of the drawing die are non-refined drawing, which can be directly determined according to the principle of constant area before and after drawing. If it is a deep drawn part with a very complicated shape, sometimes the material may flow severely and become thinner. Generally, it is impossible to calculate the cutting size. It is estimated in advance through 3D expansion, which is called a sample.
The drawing coefficient is very important. A drawing part needs to be drawn in several steps to ensure no cracks and no wrinkles, so it needs to be calculated by the drawing die coefficient formula. It is one of the important process parameters in the drawing process accounting, and is generally used to determine the sequence and times of drawing.
However, the drawing coefficient is not fixed. There are many factors that affect the drawing coefficient m, including material type, thickness, drawing structure type, drawing times, drawing speed, excessive drawing bead arc size, etc. However, you can usually consult the table for approximate calculations.
In the process of debugging the drawing die, deep drawing parts often encounter problems such as cracks and wrinkles. If tensile cracking occurs, material flow needs to be considered. Lubricant (not punch) can be applied to the mold, or a 0.013-0.018 mm film can be applied to the side of the product close to the drawing mold.
"There are more wrinkles and fewer cracks", according to this method to judge the flow of the material. The methods are: adjusting the pressure of the blank holder, increasing the drawbead, changing the arc radius of the upper and lower mold inserts to be too large, and cutting the process port on the workpiece. In short, deep drawing is a relatively technical type of drawing die, which is a challenge for design, processing, assembly and debugging, and requires great care.
